Professional Insurance
The ASA’s group professional insurance policy, provided by Marsh Insurance, covers sonographers for professional indemnity, public and products liability and scope of practice. For an additional fee, sonographers who take up this insurance policy will have complete peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that they are completely covered, allowing them continue to provide the best care for their patients.
Code of Conduct
The ASA requires its members to agree to abide by the ASA Member Code of Conduct. As a member of the ASA, it's important to adhere to ASA's values. The Member Code of Conduct is all about setting the right standards for behaviour. It helps keep ASA's reputation positive by guiding members on how to act, making sure everyone knows what's expected of them.

Accredited Student Sonographer | A person undertaking an ASAR or NZMRTB accredited sonography course and who is not actively working as an accredited medical sonographer.
