Position Statements
Below is a list of position statements produced by the ASA in collaboration with our membership, including advisory and special interest groups.
These statements provide the ASA’s view on issues of relevance to sonographers, sonography practice, and members of the public undergoing ultrasound exams; and support our work in advocating for the profession.

Consultations & Submissions
The ASA regularly engages with government and sector consultations, representing the sonography profession to ensure that patients' have access to high quality medical diagnostic ultrasound services provided by sonographers.
